I saw a distant echo,
A burst of pure light.
An ocean of glorious currents,
Your deep and dark entrancing eyes.
I approached its source,
Enthralled by its beauty.
If i told her what i felt,
Would she take my hand?
Her body turned my way,
I felt a burst of fear.
So many complex emotions,
I almost turned away.
She kissed me upon my undeserving cheek.
Took all the pain away...
Gave me back my courage,
And turned the night to day.
